First of all, I appreciate you for sharing this. It just means that you’re actually taking the exhibit seriously, so thank you. I’d like to point out that just because I chose to remove pictures of dicks, advertisements, unnecessary comments, and lewd confessions with names of the obviously wrong confessors, doesn’t mean they aren’t included in the final results of my final paper. My thesis adviser has been to the exhibit numerous times, and is well aware of the fact that I have chosen to take down a number of cards. I’ve also been taking daily pictures of the boards.Next, I’d like to point out that this exhibit is also partly mine. The goal of the project is initially to help the students release whatever they have pent up inside them, while the decision on which ones to keep for the final exhibit (when I rearranged them all) was up to me. It may sound biased, but my judgment was based on what I believed fit the criteria I put up along with the instructions. If that may have offended you, I apologize. That was not my intention. This project was based on Post Secret, the popular website. Due to its recognition, the owner of the site gets more secrets than what can be posted daily, so he, too, has to choose which ones are shown and which ones are kept. Just because one is made public doesn’t mean it is any less important. I share his sentiments. As you have seen, the board could only hold so much, especially after arranged for the final exhibit, so I had to choose which ones to show, and which ones to remove. Zoom
